The hotel’s location on pristine Lake Starnberg, with its quiet, scenic surroundings, yet just a stone’s throw from Munich, is quite conducive for holding successful conferences and seminars. All seminars, conventions or workshops at our hotel are set in an ambience steeped in tradition, with beautiful natural surroundings that prove to be extraordinarily motivating. Our conference facilities offer enough space for up to 100 people. A conference pavilion lies approximately 50 metres away, adjacent to the main meeting hall, and accommodates approximately 30 people. Our meeting rooms are well-equipped, each with the capacity of about 12 persons, and each one is outfitted with modern presentation technology. From every point during your meeting, the view of the marvellous scenery inspires creativity. You will note that for your conference, convention, seminar, or workshop, we offer an atmosphere that has no equal. A glorious view over Lake Starnberg, with the grandiose Alps as a panorama – so is your first impression of the Hotel Kaserin Elisabeth. Everyone who enters the hotel can sense what the Empress of Austria loved so much about this exact spot. A still, peaceful ambience promises comfort, the large windows filter in a sense of lightness, and any tension vanishes in the wind. During 24 summers and several weeklong stays, this is where Sisi felt safe and secure.

Even if, upon the moment you enter the hotel, it seems as if time has stopped, this thought vanishes as soon as you visit our guest-rooms and suites. Our 25 double rooms and 25 single rooms are comfortably furnished with a cosy feel. Our furnishings have been carefully selected for each individual room and our antiques complement each room’s own style. All rooms dispose of bath / shower and WC and most have a balcony with views of the Alps and the lake. The most modern communication technology has been made available for your use. Rooms have moreover hairdryer, colour television, phone, radio, W-LAN or Hot-Spot, desk, safe in the room or at reception. Decide on one of our suites if you wish comfort at the highest level. For those of you who would like to feel like our Empress, choose the original Sisi suite. A golden gleaming bed allows you to imagine how Empress Elisabeth felt when she relaxed at that time. With modern equipment like TV, ISDN and Internet connection in all rooms, we guarantee you will have access to all of today’s necessary technology during your stay. We want you to feel like you’re at home!

Our wellness areas consist of a traditional sauna at the hotel and a fitness room located in Sisi’s historic stables. Both are available to you free of charge. Treat your body and soul to something good and pamper yourself with massages following techniques from western and eastern cultures, as well as yoga and qi gong, with breath- and body-therapist, Inka Jochum.

In the refined atmosphere of our restaurant, as well as that of our roofed terrace, we spoil you with the pleasures of regional and international specialities from our kitchen and wine cellar. We use special care not only to ensure the freshness and quality of our ingredients, but we also provide you with the most fitting setting. Maître-D’ Giuseppe Sodde and his team are delighted about your visit. Your table awaits you, lovingly set with white porcelain, silver and fresh flowers. On the roofed terrace you will dine at white tablecloth covered tables - always with a view over the park and lake as well as of the impressive Alpine panorama. Or you could visit the terrace to enjoy a coffee with home-baked cake.

Situated directly off the Feldafing Golf Course, the hotel offers the best access to a round of golf at Feldafing (with a 50% green fee discount on weekdays for hotel guests) or at any of the 16 golf courses located around the lake. Most golf courses in the vicinity offer either green fee discounts or teeing time preference to our guests.
